3-hour mountain horseback ride

3 hours horse ride in the mountains

This is a trip for those who want to ride a slightly longer trip. The trip usually goes up into the mountain in beautiful nature. When you get to the top of the peaks, you get an absolutely fantastic view.

It is relatively steep both up and down. therefore one must have a normal physique and balance. You can't be afraid to ride. Due to the size of the horses, we have an upper weight limit of 100kg on this trip. You must also be 12 years old to be able to ride alone. Children younger than 12 who have good riding experience are asked to contact us by email, preferably with a film of the child riding, for an individual assessment of whether they can join the trip.

 If the weather is very bad, we take the trip down towards the fjord in the forests here instead. This is assessed by the person who has the trip.

Meet at the park 15 minutes before the ride so that you get paid entrance to the park. You will then meet downstairs in the stables where we will welcome you.

ATTENTION! There must be a minimum of 3 people registered for us to arrange the trip. We will contact you to find another day or time if there are not enough registrants.

Price: NOK 1050 per pers
Who: From 12 years with horse experience. Adults from beginner to experienced.
When: A three-hour horse ride can be booked on Thursdays during the summer holidays. If you have any wishes other than this, please contact us, we are flexible in accommodating your wishes. Get in touch if you are a group and have other wishes (post@langedrag.no)
Time: The experience takes 3 hours in total. Some of the time is spent taking the horse out, getting on it and trying a round on the riding course before riding in a line out into nature.  
Meeting: At the stables 10 minutes before the trip. 
Includes: Guide with great knowledge of the horses on the trip. It is explained how to control the horse and what is important to look out for.
What you learn: Get to know both horses and riding on a longer trip. You also learn a bit about the area around Langedrag.
Important to remember: It is important to have footwear that goes above ankle height and that you bring an extra sweater or jacket, possibly mittens/mitts so you don't freeze on the trip. It can quickly get a little cold up in the mountains. Nice if you bring your own helmet.

The trip up the mountain is mainly walking. If you want a longer riding trip arranged based on your wishes in terms of place and pace, you must book a private trip. This is done by sending an email to post@langedrag.no
